A BIT ABOUT ME

I am Boris Otkhmezuri, PhD student in the area of Digital Arts in the School of Engineering and Digital Arts, University of Kent. I also hold a Master’s degree (Architectural Visualization ) from Kent University. Before coming to Kent, I obtained my Specialist degree (in computer-aided design) from the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering.

My main research interest lies in the general area of HCI (human-computer interaction) with an emphasis on digital health. Specific areas include:

• Games and virtual worlds

• VR and AR

• Use of technology in psychological interventions

Due to the multidisciplinary nature of my research, I work with exciting people from a wide range of areas, including computer science, medical science, psychology and digital arts. See the research section for more details.
